The Mystery Writers of America (MWA) announced the winners for the 2022 Edgar Awards as follows:

Best Paperback Original: BOBBY MARCH WILL LIVE FOREVER, by Alan Parks (Europa Editions/World Noir)

Best Fact Crime: LAST CALL, by Elon Green (Celadon Books)

Best Critical/Biographical THE TWELVE LIVES OF ALFRED HITCHCOCK, by Edward White (Norton)

Best Short Story: “The Road to Hana,” by R.T. Lawton (Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, May/June 2021)

Best Juvenile: CONCEALED, by Chiristina Diaz Gonzalez (Scholastic Press)

Best Young Adult: FIREKEEPER’S DAUGHTER, by Angeline Boulley (Macmillan/Henry Holt)

Best Television Episode Teleplay: “Boots on the Ground,” by Iturri Sosa (in Narcos: Mexico -Netflix)

Robert L. Fish Memorial Award Recipient: “Analogue,” by Rob Osler (Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, January/February 2021)

Mary Higgins Clark Award: CLARK AND DIVISION, by Naomi Hirahara (Soho Crime)※小学館より翻訳刊行予定

Sue Grafton Memorial Award: RUNNER, by Tracy Clark (Kensington Books)

Grand Master Award Recipient: Laurie R. King

Raven Award Recipient: Lesa Holstine, Lesa’s Book Critiques; Library Journal Reviewer

Ellery Queen Award Recipient: Juliet Grames, Soho Press/Soho Crime

The winners were announced on Thursday, April 28 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City as well as “online via Twitter, Facebook, Zoom, Instagram or other free available social media outlet.”
